The site was straightforward to click around, and I found what I was looking for without much hassle. A couple pages took a little longer to load, which was kind of annoying, but overall it worked fine. So yeah.

I mainly use this to move files back and forth between my Mac and my server, it’s been dependable. I kept waiting for something annoying to happen, because, you know, file transfers always find a way to be dramatic, but so far it’s been fine. I did have one little hiccup with a bigger folder, but I hit retry and it went through without much fuss. For everyday use, it’s doing the job

Sync work okay for the most part, but every now and then my folders lags a bit before they catch up. Not a huge deal, just kinda weird sometimes.

I bought ForkLift from BinaryNights mostly because the price seemed reasonable compared to a lot of other file managers out there. At first, it felt like a fair, straightforward purchase.

The license itself was easy enough to understand, and activating it was painless. That said, I did feel a little misled when it came to the upgrade rules, because they weren’t as clear upfront as I expected and I had to dig around to figure out what I was actually getting.

Overall, it still feels fair for the money, and I really appreciate that there’s no weird subscription setup. It’s not the cheapest app, but it does the job well enough. Just wish the upgrade info had been more obvious from the start. 4 stars from me.

I’ve been using BinaryNights mainly to move files between my Mac and my server, the transfer speeds have been really solid :) Even big folders wrap up way faster than I thought they would, especially considering my Wi‑Fi isn’t always the best.
So far, I haven’t run into any weird slowdowns or annoying hiccups. It just works, gets the job done, and saves me a bunch of time, easy 5 stars from me!
